Astrantia major var. rosea
Height x Spread: 70cm x 60cmÂ
The true major rosea form of Astrantia – the original stock came from plantswoman Margery Fish. Â The pale pink pincushion flowers make a wonderful show during summer and will attract bees and other beneficial insects to your garden. Â Perfect for planting in groups or weaving through the border, they also cut and dry well for floral displays.
The plants are happiest in part shade in a moisture retentive soil. Â Once you have had the plants for about 3 years, it is advisable to split them.
