‘Orion’ produces an abundance of large, bright violet-blue flowers with white centres and dark reddish-purple veins over deeply lobed mid-green leaves. A favourite of many gardeners, it flowers for a long period during the summer.  

Its “hard to find” striking blue colour is fantastic for lifting and punctuating borders, drawing the eye in.  It also makes great groundcover due to its spreading habit.  A quick trim of faded flower stems and foliage in mid summer will encourage further flowering. It grows best in any free-draining soil that has some richness to it, in full sun or partial shade.
